Abstract
The human microbiome, although vital for health and the protection against infections, is still not well characterized in terms of its diversity and interaction with antimicrobial resistance, specially in regions like Bangladesh which are under development. The quick increase in both the excessive use of antibiotics and the contamination of the environment has contributed significantly to the issue of antibiotic-resistant microorganisms, thus making it a tremendous threat to public health. Although microbiome diversity has become an emerging area of research globally, few studies have focused on microbial community variations and the resulting effect on resistance patterns in Bangladeshi populations. This study aimed to find the relation between microbiome diversity and antimicrobial resistance in public health and develop effective public awareness approaches to improve the situation in Bangladesh. This study was done using secondary dataset. Descriptive analysis was done by plotting line graph using the dataset to understand the relation between microbiome and antimicrobial resistance. The study found that regular antibiotic use altered the microbiota in their bodies. This lack of diversity makes it easier for more harmful antibiotic-resistant bacteria to develop. The results also show that the microbiome in the movement is less unique and that antibiotic resistance is more usual. It also has shown that antibiotic resistance in Bangladesh depends on the maintenance of a healthy microbiome. Public health will improve and antimicrobial resistance risks will decrease if antibiotics can be used properly and necessary steps are taken to maintain and regenerate microbial diversity. These actions might improve human health outcomes by avoiding the spread of resistant diseases.
