Synthesis of Al-substituted Ni-Zn-Co ferrites by the sol-gel process
Nanocrystalline magnetic ferrites have garnered considerable attention due to their dual magnetic and electrical properties, spanning fields ranging from electronic devices to biomedical applications. Moreover, their distinctive properties make them promising candidates for various practical applications, such as catalysts, multilayer chip inductors, tunable magnetic junctions, magnetic drug transportation, and spintronics devices. Research on Al-substituted Ni-Zn-Co nano ferrite is in its infancy. The research revealed that a 12% doping level of Al in Ni-Zn-Co nano ferrites, with particle sizes ranging from 5 to 6 nm, is highly promising in the field of biomedical engineering. Therefore, it is curious to observe how the structural, electrical, and magnetic properties of Al-substituted NI-Zn-Co ferrites vary when the Al doping level is increased to 25%.
