The American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the 6sense HQ Limited on Wednesday, 21 January 2025, with the objective of strengthening industry–academia collaboration and creating enhanced career development opportunities for students.

The MoU was signed on behalf of AIUB by Mr. R. Tareque Moudud FCMA, Director, Office of Placement and Alumni (OPA), and by Mr. AKM Ahsanuzzaman, Chairman & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on behalf of 6sense HQ Limited.

Notably, Mr. AKM Ahsanuzzaman, CTO of 6sense HQ Limited, is an alumnus of AIUB, reflecting the strong and growing alumni–industry connection that continues to contribute to meaningful collaborations between the University and the corporate sector.

The purpose of this MoU is to formalize a collaborative framework focused on internships, career guidance, technical skill development, and industry exposure for AIUB students. The collaboration will further include on-campus internship engagement booths, career counseling sessions, technical workshops, webinars, participation in campus recruitment drives, and joint branding activities. Both institutions will also explore opportunities for industrial visits, mentorship programs, curriculum alignment discussions, student research collaboration, and selected corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

This MoU, signed for a duration of two (02) years, signifies a shared commitment by AIUB and 6sense HQ Limited to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, ensuring that students are better prepared for the evolving professional landscape.
