Professor Dr. Taslima Monsoor, Advisor of the Department of Law, has participated in the 20th ALIN General Meeting and International Conference through virtual platform. The conference is jointly organized by Indian Law Institute (ILI) and the ALIN Secretariat, Korea Legislation Research Institute (KLRI) and was held for three days from November 29 (Friday) to December 1 (Sunday), 2024 in Delhi, India. The 1st Day of the Conference began with the opening remarks from the Chairperson and the Secretary of ALIN. There were some welcoming remarks by Indian Law. Thereafter, ALIN Secretariat’s Report was presented before the Conference. Further discussions were held regarding the accession of new members to ALIN.
The 2nd day of the conference focused on good regulatory practices and strategies to improve the quality of legislation in Asia. The Chairperson’s remarks were followed by representations from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Korea, Japan, Mongolia and China.
The final day of the conference was opened by the Chairperson’s remarks. Further representations were then made by scholars from Indonesia, Laos, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia and Malaysia. The conference ended with closing remarks and commemorative photographs.
