IEEE NSU Student Branch in collaboration with the IEEE Bangladesh Section and IEEE Young Professionals Bangladesh organized “IEEE Student Transition and Elevation Partnership (STEP) 2025: Igniting Future Innovators” at North South University (NSU) on September 27, 2025.

The event featured seminars conducted by distinguished professors from renowned universities. After the seminars, an Innovative Idea Competition was held. The competition topic was assigned through a lottery system, and participants were given 15 minutes to prepare their ideas, design a short poster, and get ready for their presentations.

Mr. Md. Reduwan Ahmed Jihan, a student of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), along with his team members from NSU, Mr. Mohibul Islam Badhon, Ms. Najia Islam, and Mr. Shihab Sharar, presented their innovative idea titled “Solutions for Managing Flood Disaster Management.” The team declared champion among 12 teams.

Their achievement was honored with certificates and prize money. These achievements highlight the technical skill and teamwork of AIUB’s EEE students, reflecting the university’s commitment to academic excellence. AIUB proudly congratulates the team on their remarkable success.
