On Saturday, 9 July 2025, the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) welcomed a delegation from Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) for a Knowledge Sharing Program, which consisted of Dr. Fr. Patrick Daniel Gaffney, CSC, Vice Chancellor, NDUB, Dr. Fr. Charles B. Gordon, CSC, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, NDUB, and Prof. Md. Shahidul Kabir, Ph.D., Professor and Chairman of Microbiology Department. The purpose of the visit was to better understand the operations of AIUB’s Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and to explore the wide range of facilities and resources the university offers.

AIUB’s Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) team shared their journey of maintaining high academic standards through planning, monitoring, and constant improvement. They also provided guidance and suggestions to NDUB, offering practical ideas that could support NDUB in strengthening their practices.

The NDUB team toured AIUB’s state-of-the-art facilities, including academic buildings, library area, laboratories, and student activity areas and got to see how AIUB’s facilities create a vibrant and supportive learning environment.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Hasanul A. Hasan, Founder Member, Board of Trustees, and Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, Member, Board of Trustees. Professor Dr. Saiful Islam, Vice Chancellor, AIUB and Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman, Pro Vice Chancellor, AIUB were also present on the occasion.
