AIUB and Venturas Ltd. signed a MoU on February 25, 2025.  Mr. R. Tareque Moudud FCMA, Director Office of Placement and Alumni (OPA) of the university and Ms. Yoriko Ueda Founder & CEO Venturas Ltd. signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

The aim of the MoU is to further develop employment of AIUB students and alumni, in particular, of the Faculty of Science & Technology (FST) and Faculty of Engineering (FE), in the IT and Tech. sectors of Japan.

Venturas Ltd. has been facilitating the recruitment of our engineering students and graduates since 2019 and has, over the years, interviewed about 100 students and placed many of them with various IT companies in Japan. They would now like to place our students on a more regular basis. In order to further develop the employability of our students, they also plan to involve Japan’s recruiting companies to impart short trainings to them so that possible skill gaps are addressed.

Subsequent to the signing of the MoU, Ms. Yoriko Ueda paid a courtesy call on Professor Dr. Saiful Islam, Vice-Chancellor and Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman Pro-Vice Chancellor of AIUB. They discussed matters of mutual interest, with Mr. Ueda briefing them about the scope of the MoU.
