AIUB Robotic Crew`23 has secured 11th position worldwide in the International Rover Challenge

The AIUB Robotic Crew`23 (ARC`23) from American International University Bangladesh (AIUB) placed 11th worldwide in the International Rover Challenge, held from January 27 to January 31, 2023, at the Presidency University in Bangalore, India. The international space research and innovation organization "Space Robotics Society (SPROS)" was the event's host.

The ARC`23 team consisted of 12 individuals with backgrounds in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering. The team members of ARC`23 are Khaliduzzaman Mredul, Md. Mominul Islam, Zia Alam Jibon, Adnan Shafee, Nusrat Tabassum Nora, Md. Mahabubul Hasan Akash, Khandoker Mainul Islam, Mejbahul Islam Jim`, Kaniz Mohosina Tabassum,          Jagannath Bhowmik, Rameen Mehraan and Dip Ghosh. The team was guided by Associate Professor Mr. Chowdhury Akram Hossain, Advisor, AIUB Robotic Crew & Special Assistant, Office of Student Affairs (OSA), AIUB. In this contest, hosted by the Space Robotics Society (SPROS), the AIUB Robotic Crew placed 11th worldwide out of 365 teams. Space Robotics Society (SPROS) is an international organization dedicated to the advancement of space technology and allied fields. Through international events and competitions, they foster the growth of aspiring space professionals by providing opportunities for them to learn about space technology, hone their research abilities, and more.
