AIUB T-10 Inter College Cricket Championship 2024 begins

The AIUB Inter College Cricket Championship 2024 commenced on Sunday, May 19, at the Sports Field of the American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB). The event was inaugurated by Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna, Member of the Board of Trustees, AIUB, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdur Rahman, Pro Vice Chancellor of AIUB, Dr. Manzur H Khan, Proctor, Mr. Md. Joynal Abedin, Coordinator, Office of Sports along with other faculty members and administrative officials. The championship is a significant event organized by the AIUB Office of Sports with the support of Office of Student Affairs, bringing together 32 colleges from across Dhaka city.

All matches are broadcast live on the official AIUB Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/aiub.edu). Renowned national cricketer Mr. Sabbir Rahman also graced the opening day, encouraging students to engage more in extracurricular activities for their overall development.

Adding to the excitement, Bruvana is the official beverage partner, ensuring players and spectators stay refreshed, while Savoy is the official ice cream partner, providing delightful treats throughout the event. The tournament will run for five days, from May 19 to May 23, 2024, at the AIUB Sports Field, promising an exciting week of cricket and showcasing young talent from various colleges.
