Bloomberg Aptitude Test (BAT) hosted by IEEE AIUB Student Branch
IEEE AIUB Student Branch hosted the Bloomberg Aptitude Test (BAT) on the 24th of July 2014 in Campus 2, EL52 Lab. The aim of the examination was to assess the abilities of the test takers as a critical thinker across a variety of competencies and then enable them to showcase their strengths in the corporate world.
The BAT is a global, standardized online exam developed in collaboration with financial professionals, recruiters, and academics. It is both comprehensive and objective oriented, covering a range of performance areas including analytical reasoning, global markets, math, economics, news analysis, and other relevant topics. Designed for undergraduates and recent graduates who are interested in a full-time or internship position, the BAT represents an excellent way to get in front of top employers from around the world.
Mr. K M Nasim Rusho, Bloomberg Campus Ambassador of the Bloomberg Institute, conducted the test under his direct supervision. After the exam was ceased, he thanked IEEE AIUB Student Branch for their co-operation and for being such gracious hosts. He expressed further interest in arranging BAT in a larger scale in AIUB with the assistance of IEEE AIUB Student Branch
The event was concluded with a vote of thanks to the instructor who was presented with a token of appreciation for his interest in conducting the test by Mr. Farhadur Arifin, Counselor, IEEE AIUB Student Branch. Siddique Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Engineering , Mr. Saniat Rahman Zishan, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Engineering & Special Asst., OSAand Mr. Chowdhry Akram Hossain, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Engineering, Mentor of IEEE AIUB Student Branch & Special Asst., OSA expressed their gratitude for bringing such a distinctive event to the University.
