Mrs. Nadia Anwar, Founder Member and Chairman of the AIUB Board of Trustees, has been honored with the Women Inspiration Award 2024 by Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh. This annual award celebrates women who have made significant contributions in their fields and serve as role models.
Mrs. Anwar received the award in recognition of her exemplary leadership, inspirational role in encouraging others to pursue their dreams, and her influence on societal progress. The ceremony took place at Hotel Le Méridien, Dhaka, on Friday, October 25, 2024, where ten remarkable women were honored across various categories.
Dr. Iftekharuzzaman, Executive Director of Transparency International Bangladesh and Head of the Anti-Corruption Reform Commission, served as chief guest, with Nazma Mobarek, Secretary of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, as special guest. JCI Bangladesh's 2024 National President, Imran Kadir, and Rasheda K Choudhury, CEO of Campaign for Popular Education (CAMPE), also spoke at the event.
