In our urban industrial reigns, on a busy road with full of traffic accidents happen every day, Prosthesis are finding their way into the lives of many individuals who are disabled due to accidents or war time injury. This project is aiming to provide a cheaper alternative to the robotic prosthetics offered in the market. The goal of this project is to create a prosthetic hand that will be properly functional and cheap enough so that financially challenged people can afford. There is a gap between disability and ability that need to be filled and redefined. We believe that focusing on such problems, closely related to other’s daily life can help redefine the concept of disability. We have used Arduino Uno’s for controlling the hands motion through motors. There will be two modes for the hand to be operated; one is the mode where you can control your hand with voice control. Another one will be operated by some other sensors that can be used to move like holding an object with two hands. There will be another additional mode where the hand can be moved with your thought, the voice control will aid when the thoughts cannot process the signals from thoughts.
