The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) Research Cell continued its vibrant research proposal presentation series on 4th September 2025 with the fourth session. Designed to showcase ongoing academic work and spark meaningful exchange, the series has become a dynamic forum where faculty members come together to share ideas, sharpen their methodologies and inspire future scholarship.
In this session, Dr. Mohammed Kamrul Hasan, Associate Professor, Department of Finance, presented his ongoing research, which explores pressing economic dynamics with far-reaching implications for policy and practice. His presentation delved into the complex interplay between financial indicators and national development, emphasizing how shifts in the economic environment affect everyday life and long-term stability. The clarity of his approach and the relevance of the subject matter generated thoughtful engagement from participants, who recognized the importance of such research in today’s challenging economic context. This research is being conducted with the support of his team members: Quazi Nur Alam, Assistant Professor, Department of Finance, and Nabila Wahid, Lecturer, Department of Finance.
The session was attended by the Director of the MBA Program, the Director of the BBA Program, Heads of different departments and faculty members from various disciplines. They actively engaged in the discussion, appreciated the depth of the research and offered constructive feedback that could further strengthen the study. Their involvement highlighted the collaborative spirit and interdisciplinary exchange the Research Cell is striving to cultivate.
During the discussion, Dr. Hasan mentioned that his research is at its final stage and he plans to submit it for publication in a reputed journal soon. He also expressed his aspiration to explore four additional studies using his comprehensive dataset, reflecting his commitment to contributing further to the academic and professional discourse.
The fourth session concluded with an engaging atmosphere of exchange and reflection. The contributions from participants not only enriched the discussion but also underscored the value of collaborative scholarship within FBA.
