Computer Aided Design & Drafting lab

Computer Aided design and drafting refers to creating designs and schematics in a software environment used to manufacture products. It is, by no means, a new technology. Digitalized design and drafting for production have increased productivity in design compared to drafting with paper and a pencil.

CAD is a subfield of engineering which deals with the design and drafting of objects and materials with specialized software that visualizes designs as modular 2D computer models & civil design.  Computer aided design (CAD) software is used for creating the 2D models complete & civil design with detailed documentation such as dimensions, materials used and even details the design process. students are tasked to prepare technical drawings, models and plans which are used by construction and production workers to build everything from manufactured consumer goods.
