Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management

The Tourism & Hospitality Management department aims to foster an intellectual, collaborative, ethical, and inclusive environment for students, faculty, industry, and the community to produce innovative educational, leadership, and research opportunities. Modern pedagogical methods, intensive fieldwork, internships, community work, and hands-on experiences/extensive laboratory work will be utilized to produce leaders and professionals in the field of Tourism and Hospitality Management. This approach to practical work will equip them with the necessary soft skills, critical thinking, and hospitality-specific content knowledge.

This department prepares students to work in various fields, including Tour Operations, Culinary, Restaurants, Front Office, and Housekeeping. The program intends to advance its progressive vision and mission of maintaining high student achievement and research excellence by establishing high standards for imparting knowledge through best management practices, which will help raise the standards of the tourism and hospitality industry and provide its students with highly progressive careers.
