The Faculty of Engineering of the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) continues to foster professional growth and institutional excellence by encouraging faculty participation in capacity-building initiatives. In this regard, five faculty members— Mr. Nafiz Ahmed Chisty, Associate Professor and Head of the EEE Program; Dr. Chowdhury Akram Hossain, Associate Professor and Head of the Computer Engineering Program(CoE); Dr. Md. Ehasanul Haque, Senior Assistant Professor and Head of the IPE Program; Dr. M. Tanseer Ali, Associate Professor and Special Assistant of CoE; and Mr. Md. Ashiquzzaman, Assistant Professor of EEE—successfully attended the two-day training program “Hands-on Orientation for Tier-1 Program Evaluators”, organized by the Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE) under the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB), held on 19–20 September 2025 at International ARI-ITN Building, BUET, Dhaka.

This program provided practical knowledge and hands-on experience in program evaluation under BAETE guidelines version V3.0, thereby enriching the professional expertise of AIUB faculty members while strengthening Outcome-Based Education (OBE) practices, accreditation preparedness, and the overall quality of engineering education at the university and beyond. Each participants successfully completed the training and received certificates from the dignitaries of BAETE.
