On Thursday, April 30, 2026, AIUB Community of Engineering Students (ACES), in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, organized the “Capstone Project Completion Spring 2025-26” at the Lobby of 4th Floor, D-Building, American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB). The exhibition served as a platform for students to showcase their capstone projects through poster presentations, highlighting their innovation, technical knowledge, and practical implementation skills.

A total of 22 groups participated in the program, including 19 groups from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) and 3 groups from the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE). The participants presented their projects to faculty members and guests, demonstrating creativity, problem-solving abilities, and applied engineering concepts through visual representation and explanation.

The program was honored by the presence of the following distinguished industry professionals serving as judges: Engr. Mashrur H. Shurid (Co-founder & CEO, Aunkur AI), Engr. Syed Rafi Sifath (Managing Director, E Lab Bangladesh Ltd.), Mr. Md. Imran Hossain (Additional Operative  Director, Incharge - Process Development  Department, Metal Casting Plant, Compressor, Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC), Mr. Md. Abul Hasan Dewan (Senior Manager, JRC Powertech), Mr. Mohammad Sazzad Hossain (Manager Energy Deployment & Operations, EDOTCO Bangladesh Co. Ltd.), Mr. Debabrata Bhowmik (Assistant General Manager, Rural Electrification Board), Mr. Ashim Kumar Modak (Airport Operations-IT and Communication System Specialist, Nippon Koei Company Limited), Mr. Md. Ferdous Abedin (Project Coordinator, Teconica Building Solutions), who reviewed the projects and shared their valuable insights, and encouraged the students, emphasizing the importance of innovation and industry readiness.

Following the presentations, outstanding projects were recognized through awards for Best Project and Best Poster Group. These awards were presented by Dr. Mohammad Abdul Mannan (Professor and Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB), Dr. Md. Saniat Rahman Zishan (Professor and Director, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB), Mr. Nafiz Ahmed Chisty (Associate Professor and Head [EEE], AIUB), Dr. Chowdhury Akram Hossain (Associate Professor and Head [CoE], AIUB),  Dr. Md. Ehasanul Haque (Associate Professor and Head [IPE], AIUB), and Dr. Ebad Zahir (Associate Professor and Special Assistant [EEE], AIUB). During the Token of Appreciation segment, Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan (Professor and Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB) presented tokens to the invited guests in recognition of their valuable contributions. The event concluded with a group photograph, capturing the enthusiasm and accomplishments of the participants.
