Environmental and One Health

One Health (OH) is an approach that recognizes that the health of people is closely connected to the health of animals and our shared environment. One Health has become more important in recent years and is being highly prioritized by CDC and WHO because many factors have changed interactions between people, animals, plants, and our environment. In recent years, the OH approach to manage endemic and emerging/re-emerging zoonotic diseases has been promoted by international human and animal Health agencies.
