The International Conference on Challenges and Trends in Arts and Social Sciences (ICCTASS 2025), organized by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), continued into its second day on 12 December 2025 with a compelling address by H. E. Mr. Ganbold Dambajav, Ambassador of Mongolia to Bangladesh, who attended the conference as a Special Guest. He was accompanied by Ms. Nasreen Fetema Awal, the Honorary Consul General of Honorary Consulate of Mongolia to Bangladesh.

In his speech, Ambassador Dambajav drew attention to Mongolia’s vast arable landscape, noting that despite the country being nearly half the size of India, it has a relatively small population of approximately 3.6 million. This demographic and geographic context, he explained, creates significant opportunities for international cooperation, particularly in the agricultural sector.

Highlighting Bangladesh’s skilled and experienced manpower, especially its expertise in agriculture, the Ambassador expressed strong interest in exploring avenues to utilize Bangladeshi human resources in Mongolia. He emphasized that such collaboration could be mutually beneficial—supporting Mongolia’s agricultural development while opening new employment and knowledge-exchange opportunities for Bangladeshi professionals.

Ambassador Dambajav further underscored that enhanced cooperation in agriculture and human resource development could serve as a foundation for broader bilateral collaboration between Mongolia and Bangladesh. He encouraged academic institutions, policymakers, and researchers to play an active role in facilitating dialogue, research, and training initiatives that support sustainable development and cross-border partnerships.

His address resonated strongly with conference participants, aligning with the broader objectives of ICCTASS 2025 to promote sustainability, interdisciplinary engagement, and international cooperation. The insights shared by the Mongolian Ambassador added a practical, forward-looking dimension to the conference discussions, particularly in the context of labor mobility, agricultural innovation, and regional collaboration.

ICCTASS 2025 concluded later that day, reaffirming AIUB’s commitment to fostering meaningful global partnerships and providing a platform for diplomatic, academic, and professional dialogue on pressing socio-economic and developmental issues.
