The Office of Placement and Alumni (OPA), AIUB successfully organized an internship clinic for the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) students for the Summer 2023-24 semester. The program was held at the Multipurpose Hall (Building D) on Thursday, May 30, 2024, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students.
The clinic featured two distinguished AIUB alumni as resource persons: Mr. Richard Baroi, Senior Manager of HR Training and OD at Meghna Group of Industries Ltd., and Mr. Amit K. Sarker, Associate Director at BRAC Microfinance.
Mr. R. Tareque Moudud, FCMA, Director of OPA, inaugurated the event by welcoming the guests and emphasizing the significance of such internship clinics in preparing students for corporate careers. Both speakers elaborated on this theme, discussing the transition from academia to the corporate world and sharing insights from their own professional journeys. Their presentations included practical examples and personal anecdotes, providing valuable guidance to the attendees.
The session was highly interactive, with students raising a wide range of questions, making the event both engaging and informative. The program concluded with the presentation of mementos to the resource persons, acknowledging their contributions to the event and their continued support for their alma mater.
