For academia and semiconductor startups, an evening of networking and collaboration titled “ A Customer Appreciation Dinner” was hosted by SBIT-Cadence on July 25, 2025.

Dr. Shahriyar Masud Rizvi, Deputy Director, Center for VLSI and Embedded Systems, Dr. Anwarul Abedin Institute of Innovation, & Associate Professor, Department of EEE, and Mr. Mohammad Ashiqur Noor, Lecturer, Department of EEE, represented AIUB at the invited program.

Dr. Jahangir Dewan, President and CEO of SBIT, was present on the occasion along with representatives from many universities and the local semiconductor industry. It is worth mentioning that AIUB has been using state-of-the-art EDA tools from Cadence since 2015.
