On Saturday, September 20^th, 2025, The IEEE AIUB Student Branch successfully organized a webinar titled "AIUBians on Erasmus". The webinar featured 9 Erasmus Scholars from AIUB to guide current students about the “Erasmus Mundus” scholarship programs offered by the European Union.

The webinar commenced with Dr. Gour Chand Mazumder, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB, & Counselor, IEEE AIUB Student Branch, highlighting the significance of Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Program and the key outcomes of the session.

The session started with the keynote speaker, Mr. Mashrur Sakib Choyon, MJMD in Smart Systems Integrated Solutions (SSIS), Engineer and Production Manager at Zimmer & Peacock Ltd., followed by Mr. Khandok Mainul Islam, Universitat Politècnica de Nantes, France, Mr. Osim Kumar Pal, Biomedical Engineering (EMMBIOME), Mr. Mir Mohibullah Sazid, Junior researcher, at University of Tartu, Mr. Jamin Rahman Jim, Intelligent Field Robotic Systems (IFRoS), Mr. Kaushik Ahmed and Mr. Nahid Parvez, Renewable Energy in the Marine Environment, and  Mr. Md. Shadman Shakif Bhuiyan, Smart Systems Integrated Solutions, explaining the application process, deadline, CV enhancement, living abroad and self-experiences etc. After that Mr. Abdul Aziz, Electric Vehicle Propulsion and Control Plus, concluded the webinar followed by an interactive Q&A session where participants engaged in discussions on challenges and opportunities in “Erasmus Mundus” scholarship, demonstrating their enthusiasm for the topic.

Closing remarks were made by Dr. Gour Chand Mazumder, thanking the speakers for sharing their insights and the participants for their enthusiasm. A token of appreciation was presented to the speakers to honor their valuable contributions towards the student community.
