On Thursday, August 21^st, 2025, the IEEE AIUB Student Branch, organized a seminar titled “Higher Study in Japan” at the Media Studio, Annex-2, AIUB. The seminar featured Dr. Shota Yamada, Lecturer, Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences Culture and Coexistence, Nagoya City University as the esteemed speaker accompanied by a group of Japanese students of undergraduate level.

One of the seminar’s key highlights is the motivation for students to pursue world class education, embrace cross cultural experiences and explore international career opportunities. In addition to academic guidance, the seminar also familiarized the participants with the Japanese culture while organizing groups consisting of both Japanese and Bangladeshi students to encourage meaningful interaction and conversation on cultural aspects of both countries.

The seminar ended with a token of appreciation presented to Dr. Shota Yamada, commemorative group photo, capturing all attendees' collaborative spirit. The event was attended by Dr. Gour Chand Mazumder, Counselor IEEE AIUB SB, Assistant Professor, FE; Dr. Md. Rifat Hazari, Associate Professor and Special Assistant, FE and many other faculty members.
