The Department of Accounting, Faculty of Business Administration organized a seminar on Individual Income Tax Calculation and Online Submission. The seminar was open to all students enrolled in the Principles and Practices of Taxation course. The key speaker of the seminar was Md. Kamruzzaman FCMA Vice President (F & A) and Company Secretary Kohinoor Chemical Company (Bangladesh) Limited Experienced and sound professional Md. Kamruzzaman has worked previously at Dekko Legacy Group, Perfetti Van Melle Bangladesh Pvt. Ltd., Dird Composite textile Pvt. Ltd. in different responsible position successfully. He shared different acts, rules and regulations of Income Tax Act 2023 towards the students. Then he discussed how to submit the online tax return.

The event was profoundly honored by the distinguished presence of Professor Dr. Anwar Hossain, Advisor and Dean-in-Charge of the Faculty of Business Administration, who give the welcome speech. Dr. Mohammad Faridul Alam, Professor and Director [Graduate program] and Mr. Roomee Tareque Moudud FCMA, Director, Office of placement and alumni was also present in the seminar. This seminar's goal is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8) and Ensuring Quality Education (SDG 4).

The seminar was arranged by Mr. Niaz Mohammad ACMA, Assocaite Professor; Department of Accounting. Dr. Kamrul Hasan, Professor and Head, Department of Accounting; Mr. Moinuddin Ahmed, Assistant Professor, Ms. Sazia Afrin, Assistant Professor, Ms. Saeeda Tajrian, Lecturer, and Mr. Siam Mohammad, Lecturer, Department of Accounting was also present in the seminar.
