On Wednesday, 29^th April 2026, the Faculty of Engineering, supported by the IEOM AIUB Student Chapter organized a seminar titled “Strategic Leadership for Sustainable Industrial Growth and Innovation – A Motivational Speech for Future Leaders” at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB).

The program began with an opening address by Dr. Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Professor and Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB, who highlighted the importance of continuous learning and encouraged participants to be active thinkers rather than passive listeners.The central segment featured distinguished guests Mostafa Kamal, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of A K S Pharmacy, under the A K S Khan Healthcare Ltd. He delivered the keynote speech which formed the intellectual core of the event. Drawing from both professional expertise and lived experience, the speaker highlighted practical relevance and forward-looking perspectives. The discussion resonated deeply with the audience, bridging theory with real-world application.

As the seminar approached its closing moments, Dr. Mohammad Abdul Mannan, alongside Dr. Md. Ehasanul Haque, Associate Professor and Department Head, Department of IPE, Mahamudul Hassan, Assistant Professor, Department of IPE  formally presented tokens of gratitude to Mr. Mostafa Kamal and Md. Sadequr Rahman, Assistant General Manager, A K S Pharmacy, for their time and knowledge. The guest also reciprocated with gift hampers presented to the Associate Dean and faculty members of AIUB, symbolizing mutual respect and appreciation.

The seminar was attended by around 80 participants, including students and faculty members, making it an engaging and well-attended event. It concluded with a group photo capturing a moment of shared connection and accomplishment.
