| The AIUB Software Exhibition 2008 was held on 16th April. It started at 10:30 am and continued till 5 pm. The glorious event was inaugurated by Pro-vice Chancellor Dr. Anwar Hossain, AIUB. In the opening ceremony Prof. T. Hossain-Vice President, Academics, Prof. A.B.M Siddique Hossain -Dean of Science faculty, Dr. Kazi A. Kalpoma -Head of the CS department, Mr. Mashiour Rahman –Coordinator of undergraduate program, Dr. Ashfaqur Rahman -coordinator of CS graduate, Mr. Manzur H. Khan-coordinator of OSA, Mr. Musfiq Rahman -coordinator of Software Development and Md. Farhad Ahmed -convener of AIUB Software Club (ASC) was present. Students from different departments displayed interesting ideas, works and skills throughout the exhibition. 3D game, mobile games, web based applications, mobile security software and mobile utility software were exhibited. All these software were developed by AIUB students. The event was also graced and well appreciated by various members of different software based companies. Besides the companies and the teachers, the participants received valuable ideas and pieces of advice from their fellow students. All participants were very enthusiastic to share and exhibit their work. The visitors and guests were very impressed with such initiative which will help the students with high potentials to external job markets.
