| The VC attended the International Symposium on "Science and Higher Education in the Middle East:Present and Future", organized and funded by Yeditepe Univerity, Istanbul Turkey on Dec. 17-19, 2009. She made a presentation on the "Higher Education System in Bangladesh for Private Universities". The symposium was attended by more than 50 Presidents/Rectors/VCs of universities in the Middle East and North Africa.
