The Department of Management Information Systems (MIS) at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) organized a specialized webinar titled “Webinar on the Odoo Ecosystem: Modern Solutions for Business Growth” on Thursday, February 26, 2026. The session aimed to introduce students to the transformative power of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in the modern digital landscape. The webinar was led by Tatiana Kim, Education Program Consultant at Odoo, who specializes in bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world business tools by providing students with a practical look at how Odoo’s integrated suite of business applications streamlines complex company operations.

The program commenced with an insightful welcome speech by Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, who highlighted the importance of staying up to date with industry-standard digital tools. During the technical session, Ms. Kim provided an in-depth exploration of the Odoo E-commerce module, demonstrating its seamless integration with other vital business functions. She performed a live walkthrough showing how businesses can build and customize professional websites directly within the Odoo platform without needing advanced coding skills. A key highlight of the demo was the illustration of an automated workflow where a single product entry, such as a purchase or sale, automatically updates financial calculations, inventory levels, and related reports in real-time. This demonstrated how Odoo simplifies business management by connecting CRM, Finance, and Operations into a single data-driven ecosystem.

The program was honored by the presence of Dr. Mohammad Faridul Alam, Director of the MBA Program, and Md. Mehzabul Hoque Nahid, Head of the Department of MIS. The webinar was coordinated by Fatema Tuz Zahra, Lecturer in the Department of MIS, ensuring a seamless experience for the participating students.
