The Office of Placement & Alumni (OPA) successfully organized a workshop titled “Workshop on Job-Winning CV Writing” in collaboration with bKash Limited, with the support of AIUB Business Club (ABC). The session was designed for final semester students and recent graduates of the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), aiming to equip them with practical knowledge and skills to craft effective, industry-standard CVs.

The workshop was conducted by Mr. Abu Usuf Md. Rashedul Amin, General Manager – Employer Branding (HRD) at bKash Limited. Drawing from his extensive industry experience, he provided valuable insights into current recruitment trends, employer expectations, and common mistakes candidates should avoid while preparing their CVs.

Throughout the session, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of how to structure a professional CV, highlight relevant skills and experiences, and tailor their applications to stand out in a competitive job market. The interactive nature of the workshop allowed students to engage directly with the speaker, ask questions, and receive practical guidance. Notably, many participants brought their own prepared CVs and had the opportunity to receive direct feedback from the speaker, reflecting a high level of enthusiasm and engagement among the students.

The corporate guest was received by Mr. R. Tareque Moudud FCMA, Director, Office of Placement & Alumni (OPA), who appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to actively prepare for their careers. The session was attended by over 40 students, demonstrating strong interest in career readiness initiatives.

As a token of appreciation, the Director of OPA presented a token of appreciation to the speaker for his valuable time and contribution.

This initiative reflects OPA’s ongoing commitment to bridge the gap between academia and industry by preparing students for real-world career challenges. The collaboration with bKash Limited further strengthened the learning experience by bringing in industry expertise and perspectives.
