Workshop: THE VALUE OF THE BRANDS

A workshop on “The Value of the Brand” was organized by the Department of Marketing. Mr. Kaushik De, the Chief Creative Director of Interspeed Advertising, Dhaka Lectured the students of the course Brand and Product Management. The event started of with various comparisons between successful and challenging brand. Mr. De with his unique flamboyant style carried on shedding light to the audiences and mesmerized them with witty humor and   real life experiences that they need in making branding decision in future. Honorable Dean, Professor Dr. Charles C. Villanueva made a welcome address for the seminar.  He also gave the vote of thanks and handed over the certification of appreciation to the resource person. Mr. Zobair Shilbi, Head, Department of Marketing enjoyed the seminar. The workshop ended with the question answer session between Mr. Kaushik De and the students where he gave a rather in-depth analysis of how brands are triggered by performance, luck and absolute creativity. The workshop left the Marketing major students very updated on the key Branding issues. The workshop was initiated, coordinated and managed by Ms. Mahreen Mamoon, faculty of Department of Marketing and International Business.
