American International University-Bangladesh proudly co-hosted the 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Education 2025 (ICSE), themed “Sustainability in Education: Bridging Policy, Practice, and Innovation.” The conference took place on 24 September 2025 at INTI International University, Malaysia.
In collaboration with several international partner universities, the event brought together global scholars, researchers, and policymakers to exchange ideas and share best practices on integrating sustainability into education. The discussions and presentations emphasized innovative strategies to bridge policy and practice, aiming to advance education toward a more inclusive and sustainable future.
AIUB was one of ten co-organizers of the conference. The event featured 221 research presentations from 21 countries, delivered both onsite and online, and was attended by 500 scholars from 28 countries.
AIUB made a strong presence at the conference, with 18 research papers presented by its faculty members and students. A total of 32 students and 8 faculty members from the Departments of English, Economics, Media and Mass Communication and Business Administration presented their research works.

- Prof. Dr. Md. Asif Kamal, Dr. Prodhan Mahbub Ibna Seraj, and Borendra Lal Tripura (Department of English)
- Prof. Dr. Shibli Ahmed Khan and Khandakar Tahurul Islam (Business Administration)
- Dr. Faria Sultana and Dr. Farhana Rafiq (Department of Economics)
- Ms. Nasrin Akter (Department of Media and Mass Communication)
AIUB participants achieved remarkable recognition at the event. Four students received the Best Online Presenter Award:
- Abid Anjum Tridib and Mashfia Afrin (Department of English)
- Anika Tahsin Alif and Md. Mohaiminur Rahman Ekush (Department of Media and Mass Communication)
Additionally, Dr. Prodhan Mahbub Ibna Seraj, Associate Professor in the Department of English, contributed as a panel discussant on the conference’s central theme, further strengthening AIUB’s engagement in global academic discourse.
