The objectives of the AIUB Community Engagement Policy focus on fostering civic responsibility, ethical awareness, and social sensitivity among students, faculty, and staff, while enhancing the overall educational experience through the integration of community engagement into academic curricula. By promoting experiential learning, the policy enables students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts, develop leadership skills, and actively participate in volunteerism and community-based problem-solving initiatives.

In addition, the policy aims to contribute to the socio-economic development of communities through collaborative and sustainable partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including non-governmental and public organizations. It emphasizes aligning engagement activities with actual community needs through regular assessment and feedback, while encouraging knowledge exchange, innovation, and capacity building. Ultimately, these objectives strengthen AIUB’s institutional impact as a socially responsible university committed to national development.
